Almost done!!

Well,  I have good news and bad news.  The good news is that we are ALMOST done!! The bad news is that well the back piece did not come in correct so it will have to be replaced, which means ANOTHER 4-6 weeks... UGGGG!!!! They did not mottle it enough! Also, they have to come back and put a beveled edge around the back piece anyway.   I went ahead and put my sconces up because it was going to take so long.  Oh well, if this is the worst thing that happens we are all good. 

The first photo I took is of the island up close because in the photos it is hard to see the mottling.   Also, sorry for my blue duct tape hardware, still waiting on mine to come in...!

The back piece also has beveled edges that will be finished around it.

These are my beautiful antique sconces with the Venetian mirror, they match my Chandelier

The Venetian mirror on the back wall is just sitting on the counter top, I am trying to decide if I am going to hang it between the sconces.

Entertaining

Happy Monday Everyone!! I am so sorry I did not get a chance to blog much last week, there has been so much going on over here!! Today they are actually installing the antique mirror in my closet and I will update with photos when it is complete.  With spring in full force we have been spending lots of time outside enjoying the amazing weather.  I am getting excited about throwing a dinner party outside before it gets too hot so I have been saving images of outdoor entertaining ideas.  Today I thought I would share with you some of my favorites!! Peaceful Places

The last couple of days have been crazy.  I decided that I am really in need of a vacation,  preferably a beach vacation which is truly one of my favorite places to go to relax.    In the mean time I thought I would post some of my favorite images of "peaceful places".
